creation: 창조, 창조물, 천지 만물

serve: 섬기다, 봉사하다

 

2. Fair are the meadows, Fair are the woodlands,

Robed in the flowers of blooming spring;

Jesus is fairer, Jesus is purer,

He makes our sorrowing spirit sing.

 

fair: 공평한, 정당한, 맑게 갠, 고운, 아름다운

meadow: 풀밭, 목초지

woodland: 삼림

robe: 겉옷, ~을 입다

bloom: 꽃이 피다

fairer: 더 고운

pure: 순결한

sorrow: 슬퍼하다

spirit: 정신, 영(靈), 마음

 

3. Fair is the sunshine, Fair is the moonlight,

Bright the sparkling stars on high;

Jesus shines brighter, Jesus shines purer

Than all the angels in the sky.

sparkle: 불꽃, 비추다

shine: 빛나다, 빛을 비추다

Son of God and Son of Man!

Glory and honor, Praise, adoration

Now and forevermore be Thine!

 

glory: 영광

honor: 영예, 경의, 존경

praise 찬양

adoration: 예배, 숭배

forevermore: 영구히, 언제까지나

thine: <시어, 고어> your, yours
