Grammars are seen by most people as prescribed rules that should be abide by without exception to the left or to the right or any direction. In essence, although the grammar is a prescriptive tool on many matters pertaining to language, it is in essence a descriptive result of intensive comparison, analysis, understanding. We are providing a diagram to assist in the understanding of the trends and developments that crystalized in the developments of Semitic grammars. Semitic grammars are Hebrew, Syriac, Aramaic, Arabic Akkadian, Ugaritic and other related grammars.
