---Bargains. At Supermarkets. 2 +1 or 1+1 sales.

---That is what Paul is telling us today at the end of the Ephesians 5.

---The Trinity promise to us take 1 get 2 more.

---Worship the Father and you get Jesus and the Holy Spirit also.

---Worship Jesus and you get the Father and Holy Spirit also.

---Worship the Holy Spirit and you get Jesus and the Father also.

---Anyway you win. Are you starting for your spiritual bargains?

---Paul also says carpe diem. Grab the time. Time is short. Do not waste it on nothing.

---Horace was the Roman Poet during the time of Augustus Octavian who used the phrase the first for enjoying your life while you can.

---It means “pluck the day”. Use your time effectively. Paul is saying the same in Ephesians 5:16 “making the best use of your times”.

---Horace died four years before Christ was born. In 8 BC.

---Horace served hedonism. Paul served God.

---Make the best of your sensuous life, says Horace. Make the best of your relationship with God.

---Enjoy sex while you can, says Horace. Do not walk in the way of sexual promiscuity, says Paul.

---Two men, one looking down and one looking up.

---

Two men sat behind bars [human limits]

The one saw mud [Horace]

The other one stars [Paul].

---What about foreplay by yourself? In Romans 13:14 Paul says no.

---First one is to clothe yourself with the Lord Jesus Christ. Why? Devils can see you. You immediately disappear and temptation is gone.

---Secondly, to not fore-think, dream, imagine [the word pronoian]. Do not think in advance of desire how it can be or may be if….Paul says. Do not think or imagine.

---He says this imagination of sexual actions or activities do not do. Me poiesthestha.

---No doing of what one imagines.

---What should not be done? Forethinking of what? Of the carnal flesh the desires.

Tes sarkes (of the flesh)….epithumias (the desires).

---For many people this is a tough call. But the key is the clothing with the Lord Jesus Christ because it is the magic immediate power of switching off what has started!

---So when in trouble, what do you do immediately? Call out: “But clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ” and boom, power cut out all temptations. Devils are gone. Peace of mind and happiness.

---That is what overcoming by the power of Christ means Jude 24.

---Are you ready to use the key? When? Immediately.
