---Jude said that he grabbed the pen to write to them because old-timer problem making people have entered the church again (Jude 4).

---They had a sofa-gospel where one with the lips leave everything to Christ but with their lifestyle they were careless.

---Another Systematic Theology professor Edward Heppenstall said that love is the fulfillment of the law not its neglect or denial (chapter 7 of his online Our High Priest paragraph 11).

---He said that a Christian who does evil will be disapproved and blotted out of life. The whole man is involved in works, Heppenstall said. This is Paul, John, Jesus and Jude’s point and Peter.

---He said that the gospel is salvation from sin and this is a point that Jude wants to make.

---Is your church watering down the message of Christ "go and sin no more"? How able are humans to sin no more? Did Christ lie to the woman caught in Adultery about human's ability to overcome completely? Answer: That was Lucifer's accusation against God and His law and obedience in his heavenly Rebellion. 

---So if your preachers are making the Word of God and license to sin, then Jude said beware of these ones.
