---Sometimes what the author did not say is more important than what he said.

---He talked about the co-resurrection with Christ, the co-exaltation with Christ and then he talks about the co-seated with Christ, tarried a while and then suggested it is in this cosmos with Christ seated as head of the cosmos or world.

---Uhm….That is all I can say. The pope in Vatican claims his seat is that seat and he is the Substitute of the Son of God = vicarius filii dei = vicarius Christi…

---Have you seen the pope answering the youth’s questions, “Do not worry when they call me vicarius Christi or titles similar to that….”.

---The cosmos seat is the seat in Rome in the Vatican for the successor of the socalled Peter.

---Now is repeated throughout the lesson. We are not now there, says Paul in Hebrews and we cited him already. But Christ is now there active working for us. That is the now-truth.

---Is Christ seated in heaven since He left in 31 AD?

---No. Stephen when he was stoned in Acts saw heaven opened in 34 AD and Christ “standing” next to the throne. Seated no. Standing.

---He was seated in 31 AD as Psalm 110 is suggesting. He was standing in 34 AD when Stephen saw him.

---Paul in Ephesians refers back to the 31 AD event.

---According to Paul in Hebrews 1-10 the exalted Christ went up to seat but then stand for the priestly work of Hebrews 7-10.

---Why? Heavenly places is the Sanctuary in Heaven.

---Raymond Cottrell was a professor of Pacific Union College and ever since his earliest autobiographical remarks that is now in the Loma Linda Archives and Andrews University Archives in many boxes called Cottrell Works (1) and Cottrell Works (2). Born 4 years before Ellen White’s death in 1911 he died in 2003.

---His own words painted him as a skeptic, who wanted to destroy pillar of doctrine after pillar of doctrine in the Adventist church.

---He loved Evangelicals and was the first Adventist scholar to be accepted in their society.

---He wanted to bring in preterism wherever we are talking about eschatology.

---He wrote on the prophets in the SDABC and also the synoptic problem in the SDABC.

---He rejected the Investigative Judgment and said that he tried GC after GC with Fighur and Paulsen to overturn or demolish this pillar in Adventism. He said it explicitly in the boxes in the archives. He is angry because all said no.

---He was the R&D brain behind the three Froom-Anderson-Read who compiled the Questions on Doctrine book for Walter Martin (non-SDA) to use to say Adventists are not a cult.

---And when he died Kirk Watson called him a “progressive thinker in Adventism”.

---Progressive? When you want to smash the pillar of the Investigative Judgment and when you want to break down the authority Ellen White? Progressive?

---Compare: Cottrell is just as “progressive” then with his destruction of doctrines effort as Osama bin Laden was with his efforts to destroy the Pentagon by landing in their backyard. Right? Quite “progressive” in destructive reality. Wow.

---So when our writers write for Adventism. Write like one. Progressive is to built with what is there not destroy in order to rebuilt.

---Of course people destroy to rebuilt but it is a new paradigm. People before that paradigm and people after the paradigm are different sets of people.

---So how do you maintain God’s truth in continuity with past remnant generation if your intention is to break down doctrines left right and center?

---Not Paul. He is talking the same as in all his books including the Book of Hebrews. Many of the phrases like the exaltation of Christ, heavenlies (sanctuary), co-inheritance, the throne of Psalm 110, the mediation on our behalf, salvation by death overcoming once and for all, blood once and for all, sacrifice once and for all, are all in Hebrews too.

---But other churches seminaries and SBL authors and Reformed and Catholic scholars will never use the Sanctuary phrases to understand Ephesians. Never. So if our scholars are using only Evangelical scholars’ commentaries to write the Sabbath School, they will not include the heavenly sanctuary concepts in their exposition of a book by Paul.

---Why? For readers who do not know, John Calvin explicitly counseled the co-reformers not to waste their time with the Sanctuary details of Hebrews 7-10.

---Thus: Sanctuary-less Ephesians Reformed Commentaries.

---Does this make sense? Is your pastor a Cottrell minded individual who wants to break down our pillars in Adventism? Move. When? Now.
