Sung Ggi Church Mission Trip Report

  

     After finishing the mission at the Ping Jhen church, we packed our luggages again to move to Sung Ggi church. We are surprised by their greeting. They had a chartered bus to pick us up, and about 15 people came to greet us. We were so thankful to them with their greeting.

This is the bus that they rented. We could move to Sung Ggi church comfortably.

      Before we arrive to Sung Ggi church, we visited the second church of Pastor Hwang. The church was so small and humble. However, we could feel their passion in that church. We sang some songs for them, and Pastor Kim preached out God's words. Even Though the place was humble, we were so happy to praise God in the humble church. We hope that the church will be filled with people who love God.

     They prepared lots of foods for us. We were so thankful to them.

      From Tuesday, we walked around the village, and visited each houses. We gave them advertisements, sang a song, and prayed for them. Actually Diana, Aya, and John were sick so the remnants and Pastor Hwang spreaded God's words.

     From Tuesday, the evangelize meeting was started. The meeting was held outside of the church. From that day, we had a great controversy against satan. Diana and Aya had a pain with their legs, and John had the cramps in the stomach, and the weather was gloomy, chilly,and rainy. Everything was worse. We prayed alot for everything. Suddenly, the rain was stopped, so we could continue the meeting.

Pastor Kim Nak Hyung gave us precious messages everyday. The theme of this meeting was "All about Jesus Christ." Pastor Kim gave us messages, and Pastor Hwang translated in Chinese for the congregations. 

     On wednesday, we visited a elementary school which was near by the church. We arrived there around 10'o clock, and we were setting our music equipments. Suddenly, our leg was shaken, and the building was shaken strongly. We had no idea and we kept standing there, and the teachers recommended us to go out, so we went out. It was an earthquake. It was the first time that we experienced it exept Aya. After confirming our safety, we started our concert. We had a great time with children, and had a unusual experience.

     On Thursday, we visited Dong San elementary school. We also had a concert, and we had a great time. The principal of this school happily invited greeted us, and she gave some special gifts for us. Also they bought lunch for us so that we could eat delicious foods.

     On Friday, we visited another elementary school. Actually this school was not in schedule, but the principal was touched by our songs so he asked us to come and sing for the students. The nature in front of the school was beautiful so we could sing with feeling that God made those nature for us.

     On Friday, during the evangelize meeting, we invited the people who will accept Jesus Christ as a personal savior. Actually the candidates were 5 people, but with God's grace, 8 people accepted Jesus Christ as a personal savior.

     On Saturday, we had a baptism ceremony. Pastor baptized them in the name of The Father, Son, and the Holy spirit. It was the most holy time for us.

     The people who accepted Jesus Christ as a personal savior.

     We completed our mission in Sung Ggi church. We were specially happy because we had a baptism ceremony. Were it not for God's grace, we couldn't do anything. We again feel that God is always beside us and protect us against satan. We will never forget every moment in Sung Ggi church. God always loves us.
