Mission Trip in Banqiao Xinpu Church

     After Finishing our mission in Sung-Ggi church, We moved to Banqiao Xinpu church. Banqiao Xinpu church was at the city, and it was quite small church. Also, the church is managing Hangul class, and the youths attend this church to learn Korean but not for worship. So Pastor Cho is trying to lead them to be a christian. We hope that the church is fully filled with lots of people who accept God.

     Every morning we started our day with God's word. Actually we were exhausted with physically and spiritually since we had missions for 4 weeks. So we wanted and needed to rearranged our mind for God's work. Every morning, each one of us were in charge of sharing God's word. We could refresh our mind with God's word everyday.

     Before we go out to spread advertisements, we put stickers which were written a location and the phone number of church. The picture is little bit like a factory, like this picture, we worked very hard to spread them a lot.

     In the afternoon, we spread advertisements. We divided into two group and spread them to the people. The people were look so busy,so they often received it. However, we didn't give up, and did our best to spread them to let them know about our evangelize meeting.

     The evangelize meeting was started from 6:50 to 8:30. Before we start, we had worship and praise time, and special songs.

     Pastor Kwon JohngHaeng was the speaker, and the theme of this evangelistic meetings was "We Still Have Hope" and Deaconess Hong InSun translated into Chinese. Pastor Kwon told about Jesus' second coming, and he spread God's word with suitable illustrations to help the people understand easily. His sermons were strong and interesting that the people listened his sermon carefully.

We had a special prayer time before we finish our meeting.

     After the interesting story, we had a time to know each other. Also, we ate Korean foods which were made by Mrs, Cho, and her mother. Thanks to them, we could enjoy that time with eating Korean foods. The youths stayed with us almost until 11'o clock, and we had a close friendship with them.

     One day, deaconess Hong's son and her nephew visited Banqiao Xinpu church. Actually her nephew is not believe in God, so Deaconess Hong always pray for him. And we had a mini concert just for him. We hope all of readers to pray for him to believe God.

      On sabbath, we had a special time. Shine and Zach had their testimonies. We could about how Zach could join Golden Angels, and Shine told about her life and she emphasized that God is always with us.

We also had special songs.

     After the Sabbath School, Pastor Kwon gave us last sermon. Pastor told about General Naaman, who was commander of the army , and Jordan river. He said as we approach to Jesus, we may not need anything such as authority, money or pride. Just sinful body and spirit, we need to desire to be healed in Jesus Christ.

     During the sermon, Pastor Kwon shared the decision card. Actually it was not in schedule but we accidentally shared it, and some of students decided to accept Jesus Christ as a personal savior. We were so pleased and surprised, and again recognized that God is always working to save us.

     In the afternoon, We had a recreation time. Harry led this time, and we played some interesting games. Even though they didn't know how to play that games, they continually learned games and had fun. Also, a team that won the games got a Golden Angels CD as a prize.

     After having an interesting time, we had small concert. That songs were the last songs that we could share with them. So we sang with all our hearts to show God's love.

     We want to introduce one student. His name is Jin We Hoon, and he came to our church for the first time. He received the advertisement and came to our church. We were very surprised, because we didn't believe that people will come who receive the advertisement. He haven't attend church before, but when he attended the church, he listened sermon and prayed hard. And he finally decided to accept Jesus as his savior. We were very happy, and we hope that he will attend our church continually and believe God forever.

     We had a great time with them in Banqiao Xinpu church. Thanks to Pastor Cho, and Mrs, Cho for everything. We again realized that without God, we cannot do anything, but with God, we can do everything. Actually Thursday, and Friday were national holiday, and we worried about it. However, with God's grace, the church could be fully filled with people. We finished our mission in Banqiao Xinpu church. Even though we move to another church to serve them, we will never forget them. We really want to meet all in Heaven.
