Mission Trip in Pin Jhen Church

     

     After HongKong Mission trip, our members immediately went to Taiwan. We all slept in the airplane since we were so tired in Hongkong. With all exhausted, we finally arrived to Taiwan airport. After the formalities of entry, we met our new pastor who was named Pastor Lee Yong Woon. Our members charged our power again to preach Gospel to the people who are in Taiwan with our new pastor.

      We arrived to Ping Jhen church, and we could see the placard with our picture. We didn't surprise because we saw every placard with our picture in every mission fields. And we moved to our accommodation. The men stayed at church, and the ladies stayed in the Pastor's house. Pastor's family gladly welcome us, and we also could meet our new speaker, Pastor Kim Sun Man, and Mrs, Kim. We rested for an hour. And suddenly we heard that the evangelize meeting will be started from Sunday. It had came like a thunderbolt to us. However, we came here to preach Gospel, so we arranged our minds and prepared ourselves.

       Thanks to all the deaconesses in Ping Jhen church, we could be served lots of delicious Taiwan foods. After eating dinner, we started worship and praise at 7.p.m. Zach led the worship and praise since most of the church members were not good at English. After the worship and praise, we sang a special song everyday. We sang with all our Hearts and souls.

      Pastor Kim preached God's words. The Theme of the evangelize meeting was " The Great Controvercy." Left beside of Pastor Kim is Mrs, Hong, who was a translator. They had a good partnership so that they could preach Gospel clearly to the people.
 

On Monday, we visited one house which was on the high mountain. It took about 2 and half hours.

      We were surprised because the nature was wonderful. The air was so fresh so we could fully feel the nature. Ther e was a big stawberry farm, and they allowed us to eat lots of strawberries, so we could eat a lot.

This family didn't open their hearts to God fully, so the Pastor and we visited to try to open their hearts with our songs and Pastor's sermon. So we sang with our mind and heart to show God's love.

     Everyday, we spread the advertisements to let them come and listen God's words. We divided into 2or 3 groups and went to another place. We memorize some chinese sentences such as " tonight, we will have an evangelize meeting at Ping Jhen church, so please come." in Chinese. And one day, we sang some action songs at the park with some children and their parents. We had a wonderful time.

      On Thursday, we visited one church member's house who was living in the second floor of the church. She was attending the church for 3 years. She was very kind and bright, so we didn't know that she has a big sorrow. Her husband was a general paralysis for 8 years so she had to take care of him. However, she didn't have money to care and live, so she had a hard time. But after she accept Jesus, she could receive great help to her friends and the people she doesn't know. More than anything else, her husband could hear her voice so that he can also listen to God's word through her. The reason that we remember the most is that she cried when Pastor preach and we sing, and we also cried when we pray together for them.

      We had a sabbath school program and we were in charge of this. We sang almost 8 songs, and we had testimonies that we felt in this week. Through this time, we were so touched. It was a great time for us.

      We completed our mission in Ping Jhen church. We were so thankful to all the church members for their kindness. We felt warm heart through them. We will never forget them . Through this week, we could feel God's grace again through the weather, and no accident. God Loves us all the time.
