I AM A COWARD
 
 In silence I cried in the midst of the night
With these trials I'm facing and struggling to fight
Then I heard the Gentle Shepherd calling out my name
I heard Your voice, O God, and I can feel You near.

 
Lord I want to get out in this dark, sinful world
Yet I know I need to go through it here and come out shining like gold
Sometimes I really thought of giving up and runnning away
Sometimes I can't help my cowardness to prevail inside of me.

I cry a little almost everyday
And I don't want to ask why it's all happening to me
Experiencing things that are hard to understand
Is an opportunity for my faith to grow and a chance for me to stand.


Help me Lord to go on, help me each day to be stronger
Lift me up when I'm down, let me press on a little longer
The world may think I'm too weak, that I'm a real coward
Indeed I'm a coward, who wants to prove that I have a strong and great God!^ ^
