무엇을 준비해야 할까요?
What shall we prepare?

"The waters flooded the earth for a hundred and fifty days." Genesis 7:24

Question: Did Noah immediately come out of the ark after 40 days of flood?

b. No, he had to wait longer until the water reduced.

flood: 홍수, 넘쳐 흐르다
immediately: 즉시로

"물이 백오십 일을 땅에 넘쳤더라." 창세기 7:24

질문. 40일 홍수가 끝나자 노아가 곧 방주에서 나왔나요?

b. 아니요, 물이 줄 때까지 더 기다려야 했습니다

비가 온 기간이 40일, 그리고 물의 양이 정점에 달한 시점이 150일째였습니다. 그러나 여전히 육지는 보이지 않고 물에 잠겨 있었습니다. 노아의 가족들과 동물들은 아직도 방주 안에 있었으나 모든 것을 아시는 주님의 명령을 따라 양식과 물을 준비하였기에 그들이 긴 기간을 방주에서 보내면서도 생존할 수 있었습니다. 계시록 13장에 짐승의 표가 내릴 때는 사고 팔지도 못한다고 했는데 그 때를 위해 우리가 미리 준비해야 할 것은 무엇일까요? 세미한 성령의 음성을 들을 수 있는 훈련이라 생각됩니다. 복된 안식일 보내세요.

It rained for 40 days, but the water still amounted upto 150 days. Even after 150 days, they could not see the land which was yet under the water. Noah's family and the animals were still in the ark, but since they prepared the food and water, folloing God's command who knows everything, they were able to survive spending such a long period in the ark. Revelation 13 predicts when they will force the mark of the beast, people cannot even buy and sell without it. What shall we prepare for that time? We need to discipline ourselves to listen to the still small voice of the Holy Spirit. Have a blessed Sabbath!
