On the morning of March 24, 2011. In the worship room of the headquarters of Northern Asia Pacific Division, a report was brought after our devotional that is very relevant for God's people today! Dr. Lee and Dr. Shinmyo retuned from Japan after visiting the places that were struck by the devastating earthquake and mega tsunami, bringing with them words of assurance that God's protection never ceased in such times. They reported the situation of the common and the adventist people after the earthquake and tsunami. Everyone nowadays has their own report and side of the story regarding the the tragedy, but what makes the report that Dr. Lee and Dr. Shinmyo brought --is that God was in it. God and His people were active, doing everything they can to be a vessel of mercy to those who are suffering and needing of aid.  

 

               The report showed us, especially me, that the reality of the consequences of the earthquake and tsunami that struck Japan were inevitble in any way. But through men and women who is willing to be used by God,  the image of hopelessness can be turned to thanksgiving and praising. The situation in Japan can be viewed and reported in a thousand different ways, but the report that I heard that morning is just life changing, since it was reported through the glasses of faith.
