It is happening! in Moldova: (April 12, 2009)

Aftermath developments: (June 9, 2009)

Today, I will not talk about mission. Our church over there might unduly be misunderstood or persecuted.

Since April 12, 2009, most of communication has been disturbed; all press controlled, phones tapped, internet not workingthus you were not able to read any news from websites I have quoted.

Tomorrow, June 10, 2009, Moldova parliament is voting to elect transitional cabinet until national election AGAIN!  Surely, Communist party will win the vote because it requires only simple majority vote at parliament. This is unavoidable as of now. What is important is new election.

April 5, 2009                 The incumbent Communist President Boronin has won the election.

However, the problem was until one day before election the poll showed predominant and convincing democrats leading by far the Communists.

April 6, 2009        Young people protested, went on to street, 10,000 of them. Moldova has only

about 5 million population.

April 7, 2009                 30,000 people demonstrated and protested the vote was rigged.

Shaved head students (?) invaded parliament and Presidents residence, destroying and burning

their way in. Actually they were prisoners hired by the regime to do the job and thats why some students photos and videos show police were not doing anything when they invaded.

They were accused of raising flag of Romania, and Romania subsequently was blamed for instigating riots, Romanian ambassador was declared as persona non grata.

The ensuing 2 weeks, police, military and secret police were tracking down students who were even standing on streets; they were tortured, girl students been raped, students parents were not allowed

for rendezvous, the press were beaten and abused.

When secret police has entered college classrooms, Communist professors voluntarily pointed those

who participated protests. Fortunately, only 3-4 students and several civilians were sacrificed but it

has been alleged many students were victimized through tortures.

However, justice and truth will prevail; because God loves them.

Out of 100 parliamentarians, 60 were Communists, ONE short of 61 required to elect president safely. Remaining 40 of them were democrats; one out of 40 could be bought, threatened, but all of them endured by walking out altogether before votingMay 23, 27th two times of voting to elect president, they were NOT able to get ONE more critical vote. No democrats betrayed! This is beautiful.

Communist interim government will decide when election was going to take place. We are sure it will be during August when many unwanted people go for vacation instead of casting vote. They do not know many Moldovans will be returning to motherland after losing jobs due to worldwide economic difficulties. Righteous people in Moldova deserve to have a just government. They have endured for so long. Surely God will bless them so that they can worship in free environment.

We need your prayers! When everything is over, you will begin to receive mission reports.
