Genesis 10:8-10
8 Cush was the father of Nimrod, who grew to be a mighty warrior on the earth.
9 He was a mighty hunter before the LORD; that is why it is said, "Like Nimrod, a mighty hunter before the LORD."
10 The first centers of his kingdom were Babylon, Erech, Akkad and Calneh, in Shinar.

니므롯에 의해 최초의 도시들이 건설되는데 그는 구스의 아들로 함의 자손이었군요. 그가 시날 평지에 건설한 바벨은 후에 유다를 침공하여 멸망시킨 바벨론 나라였으며 하나님의 백성의 원수를 나타내는 세력이 되었습니다. 계시록에도 바벨론이 나타나는데 이는 천주교와 대부분의 개신교회가 연합하여 형성할 거짓 종교 세력으로, 신실한 하나님의 백성을 핍박할 것이라는 점에서 예나 지금이나 다름이 없습니다. 하나님께서는 바베론은 반드시 무너질 것이며 "내 백성아, 거기서 나오라"는 절박한 경고의 메시지를 발하십니다.

The first cities were built by Nimrod, who Cush's son, so a descendant of Ham. He built Babel on the plain of Shinar, and it became Babylon which invaded and destroyed Judah later. Babylon represents the power that has worked against God's people. Babylon appears in Revelation, too. It is a united power of the Catholic Church and the apostate Protestant Churches. In the sense that this false religious power will persecute the sincere people of God, it will show the same nature of the ancient Babylon. The word of God gives a clear message that Babylon will fall, and urgently warns to "come out of her, My people."
