---You need to know that when God Arise, it is the eschatological standing up of Michael in Daniel 12:1 when the Resurrection has to be taken place. First the secven last plaques on the wicked and then Resurrection.

---You need to know that the divine judgment does not have only two aspects: saving the good and destroy the evil.

---Divine judgment is a complex set of events that is connected to the five or more meanings of the word Atonement.

---Cross to remove guilt and punishment, Mediator to remove the power of sin in the lives of saints to develop a sinless character, Investigative Judgment fixing the status of the saved, Last plaques, Second Coming to transport to heaven, Millennium which is the confirmation atonement answering why loved ones are not there, executive atonement or judgment which is Hell and extermination.

---Each of these aspects are atonement and each are judgment. Justice and Mercy kissed each other, the Psalm says.

---Yes, the salvivic actions of God were there since Adam fell and will be there until the Door of Mercy closes for entry into heaven, but continue to protect and care for the saints everlasting really.

---Guilt overlooked, punishment diverted, interceding before the Great High Priest Christ started to Mediate in 31 AD.

---There is chronology of Scheme as prophetically predicted throughout the Bible but the process of salvation was continuous without break.

---This was also the point of the Calvinist Heinrich Bullinger, the successor of Zwingli, who died in 1575, that grace was just as much operative with Adam and it is with us.

---It is the foundation stone of God’s throne.

--The author said in a simple way:

“These hymns praise the Lord for His awesome power over the evil forces that threaten His people. They portray God in His majesty as Warrior and Judge. The image of God as Warrior is frequent in the Psalms and highlights the severity and urgency of God’s response to His people’s cries and suffering”.

Christ is not only Warrior Messiah when He is going to exterminate all evil at Hell.

---The Psalms are talking mostly about the final extermination of evil event, but sometimes also about here and there rescues in people’s history.

---According to my wife who wrote her dissertation on the Warrior Messiah, Christ as Warrior Messiah fought with a Suffering Aspect and with a Extermination Aspect.

---By overcoming sin, by death on the cross, by casting out demons from people, healing the sick and giving sight to the blind, it was all "fighting evil". With the Suffering Lamb of God image.

---Then in the Eschaton at the Seven Last Plaques and Hell Christ will be the Lion of Judah exterminating all evil for good.

---Now how does it work with Psalms on these aspects.

---Both the Suffering Messiah and the Glorious Messiah is portrayed in Warrior terms.

---Preterists only limits the Warrior Messiah to small actions of help in time of war for faithful throughout history. That is incomplete.

---They say it shows God is still in control. That is true but not the full story God gave us. He said there will be suffering, persecution, death, and even gave times when it will happen. He said flee to the mountains. Come out of the cities.

---Psalms know this and it is all there.

---You have to use my Guide to the Psalms online please. We cannot afford to play on the veranda of SBL preterism and idealism.

---One cannot twist the text to fit your own agenda. Period.

---Psalm 18 is not little wars of David or other times in Israel’s history. It has enormous proportions.

---Is your translation of the actions of God between Psalm 18:8-19 in the present or past tense?

---The original verbs are all Future and should be translated as “He will . . . “.

---It is the eschaton in mind here and God’s program was very clear to David and others, namely the succession of Second Coming, then a millennium in heaven and then the Hell with the Warrior Messiah taking care of that Great Battle with words resulting in elimination and not with actions of militancy.

---In this Psalm the images that were known well from iconography of the Ancient Near East of power like dragons or great animals of fear, were used to say that in that eschatological day, what the ordinary public in David’s day think is fearful, will come about but this time that “monster” will not be their monster but God.

---David almost says to the wicked, “Call your monster ‘God’ because He is going to do great things in the Eschaton when He will eliminate evil”.

---When you read the Psalms. Make sure that you have the proper prophetic glasses on. Not the Preteristic glasses of Calvinistic, Methodist, Catholic, Jewish, Lutheran, Orthodox glasses of other denominations. Put your Adventist Prophetic Understanding glasses on. Read properly.

---The Holy Spirit is biblical. Not Davidic. The Holy Spirit is God’s Scheme of Events for earth’s history, not David’s history. The Bible is a book for all times.

---Psalm 18 is a recasting in the Exile of 2 Samuel 22.

---Slips, omission of words, metatesis of letters, slip of the memory, slip of the hand, different semantics for vocabulary. All these “errors” or “human weakness” happened, but, the Holy Spirit said, slips or not, it is Mine.

---See my Guide online for listings of all those phenomenae. Relax. God saved it for us for a purpose. There is not error in the Word of God.

---Slips and Exile are brothers and God wants us to know that.

---The result of sin is slips and the punishment for sin is Exile and the Word of God copied during the Exile suffers “precision in quality”. God want us to know that and preserved it exactly as is for us to know the terrible consequences of sin.

---Does the Bible contain errors? No. 2 Samuel 22 is a doublet with the correct one preserved safely. Is the Holy Spirit not very thoughtful of us?

---Whether you are a layman or an academic, God will make you stand in awe. And he does. Does’nt He?

---Is your navigation out to go to church?

---When? Saturday morning at the nearest Adventist church. Make sure you arrive at 9h30 not to miss the Sabbath School Lesson.
