Brexit and the incident of Babel tower

Genesis 11:2-4
2 As men moved eastward, they found a plain in Shinar and settled there.
3 They said to each other, "Come, let's make bricks and bake them thoroughly." They used brick instead of stone, and tar for mortar.
4 Then they said, "Come, let us build ourselves a city, with a tower that reaches to the heavens, so that we may make a name for ourselves and not be scattered over the face of the whole earth."

eastward: 동쪽을 향하여
plain: 평지
settle: 정착하다, 정주하다
brick: 벽돌
thoroughly: 철저하게, 완전히
tar: 타르, 역청
mortar: 모르타르, 진흙반죽, 회반죽
scatter: 흩어지다, 분산시키다
Question: Why did they build a city and a tower?
a. to come closer to God
b. to make name for themselves
c. not to be scattered
Question: Is the unity not good? (not to be scattered)
a. Unless in Christ, it can become dangerous
b. People can unite for wrong things.
c. Unity is always good.

창세기 11:2-4
2 이에 그들이 동방으로 옮기다가 시날 평지를 만나 거기 거류하며
3 서로 말하되 자, 벽돌을 만들어 견고히 굽자 하고 이에 벽돌로 돌을 대신하며 역청으로 진흙을 대신하고
4 또 말하되 자, 성읍과 탑을 건설하여 그 탑 꼭대기를 하늘에 닿게 하여 우리 이름을 내고 온 지면에 흩어짐을 면하자 하였더니

질문: 왜 그들이 성읍과 탑을 건설하였나요?

질문: 연합이라는 게 좋은 것 아닌가요? (흩어짐을 면하기 위해)
a. 그리스도 안에서가 아니라면 도리어 위험한 일이 될 수 있다
b. 잘못된 일을 위해서도 연합할 수 있다
c. 연합이란 언제나 좋은 것이다

요즘 영국이 유럽연합 탈퇴를 결정한 것으로 온 세상이 떠들썩합니다. 하나로 연합하려고 결성된 EU에서 한 이가 빠지니 온 세계가 몸살을 앓습니다. 다니엘 2장의 말씀이 생각나네요. 네번째 세계 제국이었던 철나라 로마가 다스리던 유럽 지역이 열 나라로 나뉠 것이며 진흙과 철이 섞이지 않음 같이 그 나라들이 피차에 합하지 않을 것이라 하셨습니다. 다시 한 번 예언의 확실성을 실감합니다. 세계화를 향하여 치닫던 추세에 일단은 제동이 걸리고 늦추어진 모양세입니다. 바벨탑 사건을 보면 오늘날 세상의 형편 같지 않습니까?

The world is in a bustle as the UK decides to leave the European Union. They formed the EU to unite together, but as they lose one tooth, the whole world is in agony. It reminds of the second chapter of Daniel. There it says, the Europe area which was under the power of the fourth world empire, Rome depicted as the Iron kingdom, would be divided into 10 kingdoms, and they will not be combined together as the iron and clay cannot be mixed. Certainly a brake is put on the globalization for delay.The incident of Babel tower somehow looks like today's world situation.
