어제는 "바벨론"에 의한 거짓 교회 일치 운동, 종교 통합 운동에 관하여 생각해 보았습니다. 바벨론이 남방 유다를 멸망시킨 나라인데 반해 앗수르는 그에 앞서 북방 이스라엘을 멸망시킨 나라입니다. 바벨론과 앗수르가 모두 함의 후손인 니므롯에 의해 시작되었군요. 우리는 "자아실현"이라는 명제를 향해 달려가는 경우가 많습니다. 그러나 자아의 위대함을 추구하다 보면 하나님을 대적하는 성곽을 쌓기가 쉽습니다. 자아실현의 무거운 짐을 내려 놓고 이제는 내 안에 그리스도 실현을 새 인생의 목적으로 정해 봅시다. 평강 넘치는 안식일의 복을 빕니다.

We briefly thought about the ecumenism and false movement to unite religions yesterday. If Babylon was the country to destroy the southern kingdom of Judah,northern Israel was earlier destroyed by Assyria. Both Babylon and Assyria were established by Nimrod, a descendant of Ham. We mostly aim the "self-realization" to be a goal. However, if we seek for the self-greatness, we may be building a castle of opposing God. Let us put down the heavy burden of self-realization and now set up a new purpose of life as Christ-realization in me. Shabbat Shalom!
