Billy Graham's Great Sermons and Slipping

It is not the will of God that any man should sin, slip or fall, but it is His great desire that all should come to an understanding of the Truth through and in Jesus Christ, from Genesis to Revelation, and find salvation.

Billy Graham is one of the greatest evangelists of the 20th century and these youtube golden oldies witness to that. The sermons are inspiring, the song "Just as I am" was also my baptismal song in Vryheid that afternoon when we were baptized in the Seventh Day Adventist church in 1973. Jesus was very near me that day, I recall. I recall saying to my brother riding my bike home, "I can go to heaven right now".

The sermons of Billy Graham demonstrate to us as preachers excellent skills that come not from artificial gesturing, but that follows an earnest, serious, understanding of the Word of God. The deeper you dig in the Word of God, the better you preach. That is the rule here. The Spirit will touch, the Spirit will change people's hearts, the Word is lifted high. Then there is hope for the sad ones, joy and peace in the hearts and a strong security that God is very near their personal lives.

The switch came in Billy Graham's life when he started to follow the populist trends of pluralism. The last two videos are very sad and very unfortunate. They are not good, but for the sake of comprehensiveness, they are provided. There is no  "yes but" for these actions of this great preacher. They are wrong and it is difficult to understand why he made this shift.
