Ezra 4 and 5 correctly understood: A Guide

Anyone reading chapter 4 and 5 and not feeling hanging in the air sometimes, did not read it at all. To keep sensibility, it is necessary to cluster the verses and bundle them together in at least three time zones: that of Cyrus in 538 BCE, that of Darius I in 518 BCE; that of Xerxes in 486 BCE and also that of Artaxerxes I in 457 BCE. Here are the dates of these clusters. Now one can understand better what belongs together and what not. One can even read collecting or picking up the same colors or verses clustered. Follow the order chronologically jumping from this cluster to that one.
