Do
you know who David is? Uriah the Hittite and Bathsheba taking a bath in front
of the King’s eyes?
You
know him? The Bible is not silent about his wrongdoings. Wikileaks are USA
wrongdoings that slipped out on the internet. Davidleaks are wrongdoings that
is parked by the Holy Spirit in His suitcase as Editor of the Word of God as
examples for us. David. He wrote this Psalm. He speaks to the Lord.
Lord,
he said. A prayer to God.
Lord,
who shall sojourn in Your Tabernacle/Tent?
Lord,
who shall tabernacle/dwell/tent on your Holy Mountain?
[Can
I add his thoughts? Lord, because of Uriah and Bathsheba, can I ever dwell
there?]

do you think is God’s answer to David?

He
that walks upright/perfectly. Augustine said that no-one can be perfect. Luther
liked that and also Calvin. Arminius disagreed. Ellen White disagreed. What
about God? He said that David is perfect. In 1 Kings. If you say, what! Be
careful because the Bible is clear. Even the angels marvel at God, the
Trinity’s agape love. How can one who killed Uriah the Hittite and committed
adultery with Bathsheba, his wife, be called later perfect? Answer: Conversion.
Transformation. Salvation. Walking with God the Holy Spirit. Unto Perfection.

Who
step not upon his tongue. It is an idiom to say that you do not gossip. Who
says untruthful things about a neighbor.
Who
does not evil to his friend/comrade/neighbor. David is saying this with a
history of Uriah the Hittite been killed by him. If David preached this sermon
in a church in his day, all members would walk out unless…they were there when
Psalm 51 came out. Unless they know his conversion. Why? Conversion makes the
difference. Moses had the same problem with the killing of the Egyptian
overseer. Unless converted he could not be the leader of Israel out of Egypt.
We need the same conversion. Nicodemus did. Judas Iscariot was not prepared to
sacrifice self and be converted. Thus, suicide.

a reproach
he
shall not take up upon his neighbor/close friend/nearby person.
In
who’s eyes a vile person is hated.
The
ones who fear the Lord he shall honor.
That
swears to his own hurt
and
changes not. Meaning that what he/she promised, he/she keeps.
My
word is my honor. Believe me. I will do it. And he/she does.
His
hand
he
does not give in interest-rates
And
a bribe upon the innocent
