Thutmosis III was the pharaoh of the Exodus since he died exactly in the year the Bible describes the event of the Exodus. When I studied Iconography under Izak Cornelius of Stellenbosch University, this particular piece was dealt with which was on one of the two pillars in the grave of this pharaoh. The work is sloppy since the second team had to take over from the first team who probably left with the Exodus. The legs of the persons are only sticks. The pictures here presented are from Cornelius’ notes. The other pillar in the room contained a litany to the god Ra. This is very important in the light of one of the cities of that time that the Israelites was building, called Raamses. It is thus not necessary any longer to search for an Exodus in the days of Raamses II (1290 BCE) when Ra already played a significant role in Egypt in the days of Thutmosis III.  Note that only the handwriting and the pictures are from Cornelius. The rest is by this researcher. Cornelius does not share the view that the Exodus is under Thutmosis III.

The Exodus was the greatest event of its time and liberated the other nations also from Egyptian oppression
