The Helping Hippo was written and put together by Koot van Wyk while living in Japan before 2000. It is the real actions of a video that was shown on National TV in South Africa around 1990-1992. It is based on true events.

Bambi the deer is thirsty. He walked to the river to drink some water. A crocodile is hungry and happy to see him.

The crocodile jumped forward and grabbed the deer.

"Help! Help!" screamed the deer. A mother hippo saw him screaming. The hippo is very angry.

The hippo walks into the water.

The hippo bites the crocodile around his body. "Help!" screams the crocodile and drops the deer.

The mother hippo pushes the deer outside the water.

The hippo feels very sorry for the deer.

"Poor deer" says the hippo. "Bad crocodile!" she screams.

The hippo wants to help the deer.

She gives the deer artificial oxygen by blowing over his mouth.

The hippo kissed the deer. "Thank you for saving my life" says the deer.

The hippo is happy and the deer is happy. The crocodile is not happy.

 

Application
In the same way Satan attacked us all but Jesus came to take care of the bad crocodile, Satan and He also says to each one of us: "I love you". Let us also say to Jesus: "Jesus, I love you. Thank you for saving my life".
