---One General Conference Department of Sabbathschool. Two different approaches and two different quarterlies side by side.

---Where? Teacher’s edition with link supra (first link).

---One is by a professor from Walla Walla University in the USA and the other is from a professor in the Philippines University.

---One is trying to cut out Adventist doctrines and Adventist cherished views.

---The other is keeping in line with Adventist doctrines and Adventist cherished views.

---One is experiential-ontological.

---The other is epistemological-ontological.

---One is minimalist.

---One is maximalist.

---One does not know that one should put Ephesians within the Book of Hebrews.

---The other knows that one should put Ephesians within the Book of Hebrews.

---One defines epouranios as just the heavenly abode of God. (see page 19).

---The other makes it plain that it is the Sanctuary in Heaven and all that goes with it. (see page 28).

---One is less biblical. Not necessarily “unbiblical” but just bouncing back the text, thus mirroring what is there. Calvin did the same and all Reformed commentaries, old and modern. There are exceptional ones that were biblical, like Paul Bayne in 1618.

---The other is biblical. The focus is the whole Bible, the Books of Leviticus, Exodus, Revelation, Daniel and Hebrews. With these books as the branches, Ephesians is the leaf. There is a constructive relationship between Ephesians and these books, especially Hebrews and Leviticus.

---Classical Reformed is putting everything in Christ even the imperatives [verbal forms like “Watch!, Do!, Do not!, Be awake!, Wait!, ] of Paul and Jesus.

---Classical Adventism realize Christ as center as a Universe factum but the imperatives of Paul and Jesus are to be taken seriously on earth.

---So which one should I study?

---Switch to the Philippine professor immediately. It is a thorough treatment typically as Adventists have been thinking for decades. Study the pages 23-30 for the lesson rather than 18-24.

---Is it not rude? No. If you are paid by the tithes of Seventh-day Adventists then you have to know that they expect a service in line with Seventh-day Adventism and not in line with Calvin/Luther/Catholic/Baptist or other persuasions. Right? Thanks.

---Is it important? Well, how important was it for Elijah to separate from the Yahwism presented by Ahab/Jezebel officially from the palace of Israel? Why? They did not teach the truth with their “ecumenism”, “mixing” and “borrowing” across the borders of truth. Right?

---Is your pastor playing with the idealistic ideas of Reformed commentaries on an Adventist pulpit? Get out. When. Now. Time is too serious to waste your spiritual energy.
