우리를 기다리시는 하나님
God Waits for Us

16 And unto Sarah he said, Behold, I have given thy brother a thousand pieces of silver: behold, he is to thee a covering of the eyes, unto all that are with thee, and with all other: thus she was reproved.

Question: Why did Abimelech give money for Sarah?
1) He thought Sarah was ashamed by this happening
2) He wanted to please Abraham with money
Question: How do you think about Abimelech’s character?

17 So Abraham prayed unto God: and God healed Abimelech, and his wife, and his maidservants; and they bare children.
18 For the LORD had fast closed up all the wombs of the house of Abimelech, because of Sarah Abraham's wife.

Question: Why do you think God punished Abimelechrather than Abraham?
1) It was because of the covenant-relationship
2) In spite of Abraham’s shortcomings, he was a believer of God

Question: What would you do if you were in the position of God?
1) Since Abraham didn’t trust God and repeated the same mistakes, He had to ignore the covenant and set up another one with another person

창세기 20:16-18

16 사라에게 이르되 내가 은 천 개를 네 오라비에게 주어서 그것으로 너와 함께 한 여러 사람 앞에서 네 수치를 가리게 하였노니 네 일이 다 해결되었느니라

질문: 왜 아비멜렉이 사라를 위해 돈을 주었나요?
1) 그는 사라가 이 일로 수치를 당했다고 생각하였다
2) 그는 돈으로 아브라함을 무마시키려 하였다
질문: 아비멜렉이 어떤 성품의 사람이었다고 생각하십니까?

17 아브라함이 하나님께 기도하매 하나님이 아비멜렉과 그의 아내와 여종을 치료하사 출산하게 하셨으니
18 여호와께서 이왕에 아브라함의 아내 사라의 일로 아비멜렉의 집의 모든 태를 닫으셨음이더라

질문: 왜 하나님께서 아브라함이 아닌 아비멜렉을 벌하셨다고 생각하나요?
1) 아브라함과의 계약관계 때문에
2) 아브라함의 약점에도 불구하고 그는 하나님을 믿는 사람이었다
3) 하나님께서는 아브라함을 사랑하고 믿어 주셨다
4) 아비멜렉을 벌하여서는 상황이 회복될 수 없었다

5) 완전히 불공평한 처사였다

질문: 만일 그대가 하나님의 입장이라면 어떻게 하였겠습니까?

1) 아브라함이 하나님을 신뢰하지 않고 같은 실수를 반복하였으므로 이전 계약관계를 무시하고 다른 사람과 계약을 다시 세우시는 게 맞다

2) 하나님께서 아브라함을 사랑하사 그가 온전해지기를 기다리셨다
