---“The church, its identity, message, and mission, is not an evolutionary cultural idea. The church is the result of God’s plan, of God’s work in the world to save sinners and humanity.” Says the Philippine professor.

---Both professors (one from Walla, Walla and one from Philippine) then discussed Paul praying for them.

---Walla Walla professor emphasizes the value of the Holy Spirit in their lives.

---It means praying with thanksgiving and praying unceasingly.

---Unceasingly praying says Walla Walla. He says they are to “pray without ceasing” (1 Thess. 5:17)?

---Not always kneeling before God in prayer.

---The Holy Spirit helps us to look for cues of God in our life.

---It means with Holy Spirit help we process issues in our lives.

---If there are twist and turns, Walla Walla said, we ask the Holy Spirit what next?

---The Philippine professor emphasizes that when we pray to the Holy Spirit it is about God working in us not human philosophy (page 41).

---He is using the Bible to outline the kind of wisdom one can expect from God.

---Paul in 1 Corinthians 2:1-5 that it is not Nero’s wisdom that will help us. It is the mystery of God revealed by the Holy Spirit.

---It is what God did and is doing for us in heaven and the broad outline of his prophetic charts of history and us in it that provides us with the hope for living.

---Paul is praying for all of this.

---Christianity is not found on the logic, reason or presuppositions of Western Logic of Philosophy but on the logic, reason and Revelation of God in the Bible. Nice right?

---“a successful philosophy will construct its worldview and presuppositions in reference to divine revelation” says the Philippine professor. Very nice. Does it include Woman Ordination of Elders? No, says Paul, because women cannot be husbands (see 1 Timothy 2). Revelation versus Culture here. Right?

---The worldview is everyone is different and because of relativity what is right for you is not right for me. Your God is your God and my god is my god attitude. Right? Wrong.

---Christ said: “God and sin no more” in John 8. He did not say to the woman, go and just live, I will be your heavenly advocate to cover you. He expected 100% obedience. Didn’t He?

---Many Korean Adventists like to visit Europe. Currently there is chaos on three scenes in Europe: Judiasm, Christianity and Islam.

---The problem of Europe was indicated by philosophersVoegelin and Schelling as Europe’s pneumapathology or spiritual disease.

---If you travel there for inspiration you may receive an overdosis of secularization!

---The Holy Spirit will convict us of sin and preach righteousness and truth. Three things. Is it doing it in your life? Not yet? Start today. When? Right now.
