---The application part of the Agape love of God in our lives, is understood very well by John in this letter.

---Did John say that Christ will come in his day in 1 John 2:18? No.

---He said that they have heard through sermons of Daniel 7:25 Babylon, Persia, Greece, Rome and then the Antichrist Little Horn in that order only.

---Antichrist (singular) they heard will come? When actually? 538 AD for 1260 years until 1798.

---But, says John, [the carpet of this Antichrist is prepared by his agents the “Antichrists that is already at work” through the Pagan Roman empire.

---How do we know this is what John meant? Book of Revelation 12 for the 1260 years and 13 for the identity.

---Just like Paul and Peter and James, also John has the overcoming message in sanctified lives for us. “The world is passing away…and its lusts…the one who does the will of God abides forever” (1 John 1:17).

---What is “does”? Obedience to the Law of God which is His character.

---“Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness and sin is lawlessness”. What about the weak-theology preachers? Oh, I am a sinner and cannot be perfect? John says no.
