---It is a very nice statement cited by Mark Finley on the change of the Sabbath lamentation. He said that Edward T. Hiscox said it in 1893 the following [but he was probably citing someone else who said it?]

---“What a pity that it [Sunday] comes branded with the mark of paganism,

--- and christened with the name of the sun god,

---then adopted and sanctioned by the papal apostasy,

---and bequeathed as a sacred legacy to Protestantism!”

Historical date—Before a New York ministers’ conference, November 13, 1893.

--- This is the 1903 edition. It is honoring the Lord’s Day as Sunday Sabbath (Hiscox, Standard Manual of Baptist Churches, 1903: 71). On page 173 it speaks of a sect in the USA of 9000 Saturday keepers. Seventh-day Baptists.

---What is excellent in this download is the discussion of Baptism between pages 82-107. It gets ******* for the good discussion.

---It would be better to get hold of the original archives of this convention in 1893 in New York. They can be found on microfilm (O) at the AMERICAN BAPTIST HISTORICAL SOCIETY.

---In this document, the statement will be found on the 3rd of November for verification.

---Is your church still sprinkling babies?

---Read what the Baptists wrote in their manual on baptism. Adventists believe it too. It is biblical.

---Go to the Baptist Church then? No, they keep the Lord’s day and not Saturday as Sabbath.

---Wonder why Edward T. Hiscox said that one should keep the Lord’s Day or Sunday as Sabbath in 1903 saying such beautiful things presumably in 1893 at the New York Convention? It was his habit to cite authors with ideas. So maybe he was just citing someone who said these remarkable words, probably a Seventh-day Baptist?

---Is your smartphone searching for a proper baptism church. A proper Sabbath-keeping church. When? Right now.
