---George Knight is a controversial historian in Adventism.

---After the third time rejection of the Divisions of Women Ordination he called the General Conference a “pope” and his books were removed from ABC Bookstores. But later he apologized and it was reinstated.

---He is not presenting Ellen White in the years 1893-1903 properly and also not a proper presentation of George Butler.

---There is a George Butler autobiography that Knight does not seem to be aware of.

---Knight calls Woman Ordination not a “biblical issue” in which he is wrong.

---The Apostle Paul would not have agreed with him.

---In Timothy Paul said did not say “Spouses, be faithful to your spouses” in desiring Eldership. Did he?

---A woman cannot have a “wife” as Paul is indicating. Oops.

---For that reason he cited a Union’s election of a woman president in a conference in the USA as almost following the intention of Ellen White!

---This is misapplication of historical data.

---Every statement of Ellen White had a context and when Knight found Ellen White seems to support him, he uses her but when she does not he soft-pads the issue.

---1893-1903 were very stormy years in the Adventist church leadership in the USA.

---Ellen White was in Australia and came back in 1900. To solve major problems.

---Her statements addresses these issues.

---People she supported before leaving were now reprimanded by her. Jones. And people she reprimanded before were now supported by her. Butler.

---Knight does not seem to be aware of this?

---Spectrum is a liberal media outlet that indoctrinates Adventist readers with hermeneutics of suspicion and provides anti-establishment material.

---Their past authors and contributors were presenting doctrines that were contrary to Adventism.
