Deep, deep,

within the innermost corridors of my soul,

I hear the echoing voice of the living God calling. .  .

and in the misty shadow of the sin and darkness

I reach out for the touch of His garment.

In the quivering flame of the candle of my own righteousness,

mysterious shadows against the walls of my memories,

haunts me, frighten me.

And the rock over  which I stumbled

became the Rock of my salvation.

When I grasp for balance

and gave up in despair-

It was then

that I sense the breathing of the Spirit of God,

so close -

and then  I knew

the peace that passes all understanding

is with me.
