now: https://absg.adventist.org/pdf.php?file=2023:2Q:SE:PDFs:EAQ223_04.pdf ---Some
things you need to know is that John in Revelation 4 saw an opening of the
temple in such a way that he could see what is happening there. ---Throne,
24 elders that is what John saw. ---Chapter
4 and 5 is one continuous event or events. ---Scholars
are differing how they interpret the Bible and Ellen White on these two
chapters. ---The
problem is not Ellen White or the Bible but the scholars. Some say it is at the
ascension and others said it is in 1844. ---What
is the answer? John did not see an event that was about to start or in progress
necessarily or started happening already. This is how dreams and visions of
future events are. See but happen later. Right. ---Back
looking is when the Lamb was already slain in 31 AD. Fulfilled in Daniel
9:24-27. ---Throne.
Always remember that God’s throne is not static or standing still or
stationary. That is the Reformed and Catholic and maybe Judaism view of the
throne of God. ---God’s
throne is moving (see Ezechiel 1). It is mobile. It is not standing only in the
Most Holy. Christ did not ascend to the Father in the Most Holy at ascension.
Sorry Calvin. Calvin’s problem was that he did not want the Reformed colleagues
of his to waste their time on the detail of the sanctuary in heaven in Hebrews
7-10. Result? Atonement at the cross. Period. Oops. ---God
the Father was at the cross when Christ died in 31 AD, the throne then moved to
the Holies and waited for Christ there. Then it moved to the Most Holy and
waited for Christ there. ---The
Judgment scene of Daniel 7 was to start in 1844 and had to be after the time of
the Little Horn until 1798 AD as Daniel 7 said. Heppenstall made this point very
clear and also William Shea. Adventism’s contribution to Christianity is these
discoveries which is void in Calvinism and Lutheranism and and. ---D-G.
Nam wrote his doctoral at Andrews University on the Throne Motif in the ANE and
the Bible. Great work. The mobile throne is one of his supportive contributions
also. ----But
was atonement not once and for all on the cross? No. Read carefully. His
sacrifice and death on the cross was once and for all in the Book of Hebrews!
Sorry Calvin. ---Are
you still clinging to Calvin ideas of everything at the cross and the cross is
everything? Better update to Adventism Salvation 4.1 rather than Calvinism
Salvation 1.1. Right? When? Now.
