During the time of Abram La Rue, probably the first Adventist missionary to China or Hong Kong brought the gospel in printed pages. The printed pages were the first methods used in penetrating the places who are knew to the gospel. That fact is still as relevant and same today. Last, August 28, 2011, the 1000 missionary movement missionaries who are assigned in the West Central Korean Conference of the Seventh-day Adventists gave out tracts and printed pages in the vicinity surrounding Baekseok SDA church in Yangju City. The church provided the materials to be given out and hosted the missionaries so that they may have a place to stay on Saturday night before the distribution day. The missionaries worked alongside with the church members and pastor to penetrate the surrounding area which will be the first time in its history to receive the printed pages. The missionaries alongside with the church members and pastor prayed for the tracts on the evening before it was given so that it may have the blessing and power of God to touch the hearts of the people that will receive it for the first time.
Like the time when Abram La Rue shared the good news for the first time to the Chinese people, so was the missionaries and the church members of today used the printed pages in bringing salvation to the people who received it for the first time. Let us continue praying of the people who received the tracts and for the work that is going throughout the world!

1000 Missionaries in Korea, I am very much proud of you.
During the week days, I know how much busy you are and on the Sabbath days you are given additional mission related responsibilities. I understand how much you wish to take a rest on Sundays, after a long week of service. But you voluntarily chose to continuce to serve the Lord by handing out magazines and tracts to the people you are not familiar with. May the Lord be with you each moment and strengthen you. I love you missionaries!
