is not in the surroundings but in the heart (Matthew 5:17-48). ---Ellen White says that those who think they will never be tempted
after conversion is living in imagination not reality. The perfection of no
temptation is not possible as long as Jesus did not come. She did not say
perfection is not possible. ---Perfection is biblical. Paul and Peter is calling for it all the
time. Peter said that you need to be spotless or aspiloi in 2 Peter 3:14. In
heaven? Yes but also on earth. In heaven as status. ---By becoming partakers of divine nature we are to escape the
corruption that is in the world through lust says Peter in 2 Peter 1:4. It is
exactly the same as what Paul said in Romans 13:14. ---How do you escape in you growth towards perfection and
sanctification and holiness temptation and sinful thoughts popping up by Satan
and his demons? ---By saying the words of Paul in the first part of Romans 13:14: “be
you clothed with the Lord Jesus Christ”. ---When you say these words in your desperation. Immediately the
Holy Spirit jumps into your heart and throw out Satan and his angels with
immediate effect. ---The mind is calm. The mind is peaceful. If you did not sleep you
will fall asleep in seconds. Gone is the temptation. ---Paul says in the same passage, clothed with Christ, the fleshly
things, the contemplation (pronoian) of it, do not do or make or contemplate
(me poiesthesthe). The habit is that contemplation and brooding over it in
thoughts leads to desires, desires that wants to be done and is fleshly (tes
sarkes) and thus end in sin. ---This text is Paul’s overcoming key. It is the sword against
sinning. It is the perfection attainment agenda. A miracle immediately
happening to you. Try it. ---Peter, Paul, James and John in all their writings advocated
total overcoming of sinful natures. Eradication of a sinful nature is
attainable with the power of the Holy Spirit in you and Paul said that one
should be blameless. Same as Peter. ---Ellen White advocated total perfection of any sinful thoughts
and habits. ---Peter said in 2 Peter, now that you are saved do not make your
salvation useless by your behavior (2 Peter 1:9). “Forgot purification from his
former sins”. ---Try the key of Paul and experience overcoming immediately.
Wonderful. Great victory. ---Let us be worthy of the price He paid for us. ---Do not dish out cheap tickets of salvation focusing on grace
only. That is the Status in heaven, says Peter, focus now on your behavior,
godliness, perfection on earth with the Holy Spirit’s help (2 Peter 1:3).
