The Samson Proof-text that tumbles the
pillars of the Binity view Those who have problems with the Trinity in
the Bible developed a Binity view. There is in their view only the Father and
Christ and they share the power of the Holy Spirit, not a third person. Here is the problem: Jesus said that the
sin against the Father and Himself will be forgiven, but the sin against the
Holy Spirit will not be forgiven.
The independency of the Holy Spirit from
the Father and Christ cannot be missed here. If the Spirit is just an extension
of Christ and the Father, then it would be illogical to say that sins against
them can be forgiven but not against the Holy Spirit. The logical fallacy is as
clear as the simple statement that Christ made in all clarity of support for
the Trinity view here.
