Saturday or Sunday Worship --- Getting the Calendar correct...from the Bible

---Have you ever heard the excuse why they worship on Sunday: Well, no-one really knows which day was the seventh day or which day was the first in the Bible?

---I did, many times. But, how do you know which day is the Sabbath? Can you not choose your own Sabbath any day and keep it every seven days?

---Constantine the Great chose Sunday for everyone to keep so-that pagans and Christians worship on the same day every seven days.

---The Catholic Church sanctioned it and claim ownership of being the R&D for this concept.

---How do we know they claim to be the R&D for this concept? Johannes Eck the lawyer against Martin Luther in the Debate of 1517 said it against Luther.

---He said that if Luther wants to be biblical, he has to keep the Sabbath on the Seventh day like the Jews, that is Saturday and not Sunday because you can read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation and you will nowhere see that Sunday is the Sabbath. It was a tradition instituted by the Catholic Church. If Luther wants to break from Catholic tradition, he has to stop worshiping on Sunday.“

---Wow. What a claim. What an argument. Luther? Silent.

---Luther was not willing to deal with this topic and also not with adult baptism that people tried to introduce to him in 1525. Both he and Calvin did not want to deal with this biblical truth. Sidestep is the word.

---Well, how do we know from the Bible that Sabbath was not on Friday or Monday or Wednesday? Every seven days of course?

---Simple. Google Greek Bible. Select Mark as book. Go to chapter 16. You will see, if you can read Greek, and I am speaking to thousands of pastors, professors, professor emeritus in Greek, in Theology, in New Testament, in Biblical Studies, in Worship, in Ministry, in Sacraments, in Church Councils the CEO, the head of denominations all over the world.

---If you can read Greek, the text reads in verse one of Mark 16:1 kai diagenomenou tou sabbatou which is translated as “and after the Sabbath” literally reading a preposition dia or through with genomenou as happening, meaning the Sabbath was over. It literally reads: through the happening of the Sabbath.

---What does it mean when someone says: through the happening of something?

---What does it mean when you call your friend and said: we are through the river? Are you in the river? No. The river is past. You are on the bank of the river. The same here.

---Then the Mary’s came with aromatics to balm Jesus’ body.

---To make sure that you know when they came, verse 2 give you the straight word with no doubt: “and early on the first from the Sabbath”.

---First [day] from the Sabbath [day].

---Mark is very clear. The book was written apparently when Paul was a missionary in Asia.

---So if they wanted to change the worship day from Saturday to Sunday, surely, Mark would have used this opportunity in his precision to indicate such an event.

---Absent. Sunday consecration or insistence toward such a consecration is totally absent.

---Professors, Pastors, Theological students, elders, deacons, bishops, priests, do you get the message clear?

---If you want to be biblical and not running after human created traditions, then you have to make a change in your life.

---When? Right now take your cell-phone and find the nearest Adventist Church in your area. Call the pastor or elder and say that you want to speak to him about this important situation.

---Why support a deception of the Word of God and seal it with self-deception that my pastor will not lie to me or my church cannot be wrong or surely the professor in Theology will not be wrong on this?

---Get out of this trap as soon as possible.

---It is considered keeping the law when you do that. Who should keep the law? God said that everyone who is faithful will keep His law and commandments.

---If you break one law but keep nine, is that OK?

---If you break one you have broken all. Said Christ in the Bible.

---Is it that serious?

---Look at the apple of Eve. Just an apple and a paradigm shift happened all over the world. So just Sabbath on Saturday or Sunday? Major consequences. Hurry to fix the error. Immediately. Is your phone out?
