ENGLISH-MONGOLIAN CHURCH ESTABLISHED
Sonia Gumangan, 1000 Missionary at Taeneung Church
In the midst of a buzzling industrialized city of Ansan lies a homage for migrant people.
Seventh-Day Adventist Migrant Mission Center serves migrants in Korea who come from different parts of the world. They extend services to these people through medical and dental assistance, temporary lodging, free classes in English, Korean, Chinese and Mongolian. Free meals are served during weekends, and Vesper's Worship and Sabbath Services are joyfully enjoyed together by the people who come and fellowship with the Lord.
Today, April 11, 2009, is very significant for everyone in the center because the English-Mongolian Church was duely established. Pastor Hwang ChunKwang, West Central Korean Conference President, graced the occasion with his inspiring words. Pastor Kwon JohngHaeng, Adventist Mission Director of the Northern Asia-Pacific Division, gave the salutatory message - giving us the view of how the word of God spread in Mongolia in an interim of more than 10 years. The Lord truly blessed Mongolia - starting with three precious souls to more than a thousand at present.
Some pastors also came to be a part of this precious moment. A number of migrants were present too, to witness and be involved in the said special activity of the place. Some missionaries where also invited to sing and help in the said affair. The program went well by the mercy and blessings from the Lord Almighty.
We feel so overwhelmed with all the efforts and faith North-Asia Pacific Division and WCKC invested just to keep this program for migrants going. We hope that these foreigners here in Korea will find Jesus and accept Him as their personal Savior, Redeemer, Comforter and Provider through this center. Let's include in our prayers SDA Migrants Mission Center and may it prosper in its mission to serve everyone globally and hasten Jesus' Coming.
God bless everyone. Thank you for your prayers.
