How IAD Literature Evangelists Will Participate in GCP
In the Inter-American Division (IAD) all literature evangelists are excited to be part of this project, and they are planning the distribution of The Great Controversy as follows:
1. They will buy the books themselves to give away to those who cannot buy them.
2. They will give the book as a companion to the collections they deliver.
3. They will look for individuals who would like to participate in the project by donating the books.
4. At meetings of prayer for Revival and Reformation on Sabbath in the churches, members will make a pact that includes reading
and distributing the book.
Portugal Distribution Plan
In Portugal we are planning to work GCP with church families in the Homes of Hope Project. In September we will challenge every family to give a complete version of The Great Controversy to a friend every week. Each week the families will pray for the
person who will receive the book; at the end of the week they will give the book to that person.
By the end of the year each family will distribute 52 books. Not all families can afford to purchase these books, but we are gathering donations to assist those who cannot afford them. Families have already started to create a list with the names of 52 people they want to give a book to; the list will include relatives, friends, and neighbors. We believe this plan will bring positive results to our church. Jose Eduardo Texeira | Portuguese Union President
