According to a new poll released on the 28th of January 2016, by the Pew Research Center in the USA, it was found that the Seventh-day Adventist Ben Carson as presidential candidate was considered the most faithful. (see the original pdf report [below in sources] page 2).
In descending order they are listed as Ben Carson 68% religious and 11% as not religious; Ted Cruz 65% religious and 12% not religious; Marco Rubio 61% religious and 13% not religious; Hillary Clinton 48% religious and 43% not religious; Bernie Sanders 40% religious and 35% not religious; Donald Trump 30% religious and 60% not relgious.
Of all the interviewers, “Half of all respondents said they are less likely to vote for a candidate who doesn’t believe in God” (Miskin 2016).
