Towards a solution for the Dead-lock
between the NAD and GC Session method of decision making Koot van

When a son is rebellious against the
father, the way Proverbs want it to be solved is discipline. The book went on
to say that he may hate you at first but in the end are great rewards. “My son, if sinners entice you, do not
consent.” (Proverbs 1:10). WO is against the Word of God and to say, I do not
care, is to allow sinners to entice oneself. Isaiah complains about female rulers. He
says “O my people! Their oppressors are children, and woman rule over them”
(Isaiah 3:12). Notice that it is speaking of WO since it is about the religious
people of God. The seed is suffering because of the weed that ran after Baal
and Astarte and used prostitutes for priestesses. Jezebel was known for her
favoritism of Phoenician religion and she was also insisting on equal rights in
jurisdiction, ecumenism and of course WO in the foreign religions. “and reproofs for discipline are the Way
of Life” (Proverbs 6:23b). “But a babbling fool will be thrown down”
(Proverbs 10:8b; 10b). “But a rod is for the back of him who
lacks understanding” (Proverbs 10:13b). “Whoever loves discipline loves
knowledge. But he who hates reproof is stupid” (Proverbs 12:1). “A wise son accepts his father’s
discipline but a scoffer does not listen to rebuke” (Proverbs 13:1). “Poverty and shame to him who neglects
discipline but he who regards reproof will be honored” (Proverbs 13:18). “He who spares his rod hates his son but
he who loves him, disciplines him diligently” (Proverbs 13:24). “In the mouth of the foolish is a rod
for his back” (Proverbs 14:3). “Stern discipline is for him who
forsakes the way, he who hates reproof will die” (Proverbs 15:10). “He who neglects discipline despises
himself but he who listens to reproof acquires understanding” (Proverbs 15:32).
“The discipline of fools is folly”
(Proverbs 16:22). “A rebellious man seeks only evil”
(Proverbs 17:11) “A rebuke goes deeper into one who has
understanding than a hundred blows into a fool” (Proverbs 17:10). “He who justifies the wicked, and he who
condemns the righteous, both of them alike are an abomination to the Lord”
(Proverbs 17:15). “Great anger shall bear the penalty . .
. for if you rescue . . . you will only have to do it again” (Proverbs 19:19). “Discipline your son while there is hope
. . .” (Proverbs 19:18). “Strike the scoffer and the naïve may
become shrewd” (Proverbs 19:25). “The mouth of the wicked spreads
iniquity” (Proverbs 19:28b). “Judgments are prepared for scoffers.
. .” (Proverbs 19:29a). “Differing weights and differing
measures, both of them are abominable to the Lord” (Proverbs 20:10). “Stripes that wound scour away evil and
strokes the innermost parts” (Proverbs 20:30). “When the scoffer is punished the naïve becomes
wise” (Proverbs 21:11) (See supra also). “He who sows iniquity will reap vanity
and the rod of his fury will vanish” (Proverbs 22:8). “Foolishness is bound up in the heart of
a child. The rod of discipline will remove it far from him” (Proverbs 22:15). “Apply your heart to discipline and your
ears to words of knowledge” (Proverbs 23:12). “Buy truth and do not sell wisdom and
instruction and understanding” (Proverbs 23:23). “Who has contentions? Who has
complaining? . . .Those who go to taste mixed wine . . .“[also the mixed wine
of falsehood and deviations from the truth].(Proverbs 23:29, 30) “But to those who rebuke will be delight
and a good blessing will come upon them” (Proverbs 24:25).
Solution
to the NAD insisting that dr. Sandra Roberts, wrongly ordained against the GC
session will, be accepted as the first NAD president, against the GC session will.
Is it not possible that by the end of
this month, November, the GC announced that from January 2017 every worker of
the GC is going to be required to sign a MOU that they will abide by the
decision of the GC or face the consequence that they be replaced by other
workers, regardless of position or field they are in.
There are thousands of able faithful SDA’s
who have been following God’s ways in the Bible, SOP and Session decisions
there whole life, and it will not be a difficult task to coordinate
systematically a replacement of all positions refusing to sign the MOU.
Chuck Swindoll presented an excellent
lecture on "Boars in God's Vineyard". It is on Youtube. He said:
"You need to be fair but firm". Paul said: “Now I urge you, brethren,
keep your eye on those who cause dissentions and hindrances contrary to the
teaching which you learned, and turn away from them” (Romans 16:17).
