Age of the
Seafloors: not chronologically but sequential postulates

The media is
full of the research of Ben-Gurion University in the Negev of Israel researcher
Roi Granot’s study of the age of the sea-floors. Granot explains his method of
calculating the age of the sea-floors: “"Changes in the magnetic field's
orientation over time are recorded in the ocean floors, creating a unique
barcode that provides a time stamp for crust formation," Dr. Granot says.
"The results shed new light on the tectonic architecture and evolution of
this region and have important implications on various geodynamic
processes."(1) Granot’s article was published in the Nature Geoscience
Journal in August 2016. Fresh on the shelf. Magnetic
strips are formed on the sea-floor are formed when lava are laid in one
direction and the magnetic readings can determine the age of the floor. As Der
[Translated: The alignment of
the minerals in the solidified lava rock reveals the age of the sea floor: geo
researchers have created a calendar of the polarity of the Earth's magnetic
field--with its help, the age of any lava rocks can be determined.”] One first must
validate the “calendar of the polarity of the Earth’s magnetic field”. Who
fixed it and how. Who counted the years or is it days or hours or minutes or
seconds? Is it chronological or sequential? The greatest disturbance
of the sea-floor was in the year 2692 BCE. That is the year the Noachic Flood
covered all the mountains of the earth, the highest one with probably 10 meters
of water. It was not a local flood. It was not a Tsunami. The Gilgamesh Epic,
which is Israelite “fusion midrash” since it was an exile in Niniveh composing
and conflating his Mosaic-Genesis knowledge of the Noachic event in Genesis
6-11 with Sumerian and Middle-Assyrian bits and pieces of the reality of the
Flood. Even the Old Babylonian Sumerian Kinglist acknowledged the kings before
and after the Great Deluge (see online T. Jacobson publishing and discussing
the Sumerian Kinglist with his book
from the Chicago Oriental Institute). Granot being a Jew and understanding
Hebrew, is the first one who should have had an eye on this issue. The chronology
of the Flood of the Hebrew tradition as embodied in the unaltered text of the
consonantal text of the Masoretic Tradition (not the corrupt versions or
translations of it later by whoever hands) places the Flood with no uncertain
terms absolutely in the year 2692 BCE. The technique how to calculate this date
with the Hebrew Text has been explained in detail before. Psalm 104
describes exactly what Granot found with his concept of subduction zones or
zones that gave way or sinked down by saying: “You covered
it (the earth) with the deep (water) as with a garment. The waters were
standing above the mountains. At Your rebuke they fled (meaning that some
mountains moved or sunk). At Your sound of Your thunder they hurried away
(continental drift). The mountains rose, the valleys sank down to the place
which You did established for them. You set a boundary that they may not pass
over. That they may not return to cover the earth” This report is
no different than what Moses described in Genesis. Granot
mentioned that seabed can be found on the Alps. The picture of Axel Bojanowski
of Der Spiegel shows the process of
continental drifting.(3) Of course he follows Granot and other modern
Evolutionists who think they can add years to it by calling it first 360, 340
and then 320 million years ago. In each picture one can see the continents
drifting further away with South America and the US lying close to Africa and
Great Britain. Continental drifting was used by many to explain the presence of
fossils in different continents if the present status quo is accepted. But a
Catastrophe [like the Flood of Noah] could have had a different impact on these
animals that died instantly or over a few days covered with lava flows. Some of the
age counting is not stable. “Some of the fundamental tectonic characteristics
of the eastern Mediterranean remain unresolved due to the extremely thick
sedimentary cover (10 to 15 km) and the lack of accurate magnetic anomaly data”(1).
Anomaly means we do not know. It means that some things are conflicting with
other things. “Lack of accurate” is a good expression meaning that we simply do
not know. That is why we need to ask ourselves whether it is not better to talk
about sequential data rather than age by years data. In the year of the Flood
in 2692 BCE, the magnetic fields and lava flow and upheavals described in Psalm
104:6-8, helps us to understand the work of Granot and his publication. As a
Creationist, I am thrilled by his results. Granot is
blinded by his geological Evolution glasses but the data can be explained by
changing the glasses to the Creationistic one which is not only in line with
the Hebrew text but also the more sensible one. We must remember there was no
evolution or dinosaurs on the Moon or Mars. The enigma of this planest’s
intricacy speaks for itself. The Fingerprint of Creation is everywhere. What Granot
sees as a virgin lake and the oldest lake in the World just above the horn of
Africa, is indeed maybe a virgin lake remains of the Flood of Noah in 2692 BCE.

Dear
God Scholars
are looking at Your creation, the oceans and Your punishment tool, the Flood,
see the ocean bed on the Alps and still cling to their Evolution ideas. Thanks
for the Word of God making things so simple and plain to understand helping us
to help science make sense of the status quo of this world. Amen
