now: https://absg.adventist.org/pdf.php?file=2022:4Q:SE:PDFs:EAQ422_07.pdf ---Anyone
still reading Adventist Today naively thinking it is true Adventism telling us
what to believe, is fooled highly. ---An
article appeared it seemed to me, saying “Expired of Inspired” meaning that
Ellen White has expired as inspiration guide. ---Loma
Linda Theologian of New Testament said that a couple of months ago publicly on
a video. ---So
what do we do with the Word of God that is also inspired? ---Adventist
Today is trying to do what Enlightenment did with the other churches in the
Victorian period: hermeneutics of suspicion. Including the Bible. ---And
Satan succeeded with all churches so far except the Adventist church and some
other churches who are also clinging fundamentally to their Bibles. ---It
is a pleasure to be called a Fundamentalist or Biblicist by anyone. For anyone
that says that is in Satan’s camp. Period. ---So
the Bible said that Jesus ministry was in jeopardy during the time of His
crucifixion. It appeared at first that way… ---“Christ’s
mission seemed to have ended (and even failed) with His death on the cross.” ---“Satan
succeeded in instigating Judas to betray the Savior (Luke 22:3, 4; John 13:26,
27). ---“The
chief priests and elders to demand His death (Matt. 26:59, Matt. 27:20). ----“After
Jesus was arrested, “all the disciples forsook Him and fled” (Matt. 26:56,
NKJV). ---“Peter
denied Him three times (Matt. 26:69–75). ---“Now
Jesus was lying in a tomb hewed out of a rock, closed with a large and sealed
stone, protected by Roman guards (Matt. 27:57–66). ---“He
was watched by invisible demonic powers. “If he could, he [Satan] would have
held Christ locked in the tomb.”—Ellen G. White, Manuscript Releases, vol. 12,
p. 412 ---It
all looked hopeless. Right? Wrong. ---The
drama of heaven was about to start. ---At
the darkest hour of world’s history, light penetrated all and glory came alive. ---All
the human and Satanic supernatural stumbling-blocks laid at Jesus Tomb was not able
to hold Him back from being resurrected. ---He
told all that He is going to be resurrected within three days, using not a
24-24-24 hour calculation but an Eastern one of inclusive counting: part+
full+part = 3 days. ---All
knew about what He said, and evil tried to block this event. ---Despite
the Word of God evil always tries to run the other way, but will fail. ---Apostasy
is when people go against the Word of God to listen to populist culture and
other voices rather than the Word of God. Trying to “block God” in getting His
program done. ---They
think they are “progressives” but actually they are from a fundamentalist Biblicist
point of view: “degenerating”. And refuse to admit it. Blind to notice it.
Spiritually blind that is. ---Is
it not time for everyone to make a turn back to the Word of God in these last
hours? ---A
study was done on the difference between progressive and conservatives. A detailed
analysis of fundamentalist religious movements undertaken by Martin Marty
and Scott Appleby in the 1990s. ---The
project, which ran from 1987 to 1995, produced five volumes. The findings are summed
up in Almond et al. (1995) and reprised in Almond et al. (2003). ---They
came to the conclusion that progressives are fighting for the rights of the
individual so that the individual is free to do whatever the individual feels
is right in their own eyes. No norm, nobody outside the self, telling a person
what to do and how to think. They follow populist culture rather than the
Bible. ---Conservatives
are like beehives. Social pressures to conformity to loyalty, sanctity or
purity, accepting authority as rule over the individual, especially the
biblical one of sola scriptura. They follow the Bible rather than populist
culture. ---Of
course the jargon of these people in the study are all atheistic and careless
of faith and the Bible. ---Where
do you choose to stand on these two Ways that Jesus outlined in the Gospels?
