your heart. The Topic today

your own language to see God speaking also to your heart. ---Our scholars
in our denomination many times come in contact with scholars of other
denominations. ---Chatting at
a dinner table after a conference paper, the other scholar lamented to our
scholar that they have many problems in their denomination recently. ---"Unfortunately,
we do not have the luxury of having Ellen White", he said. ---Today is
Ellen White's comment about character development. ---Character
development is the last thing George Knight is eager to hear in his writings.
His focusing on Justification at the cost of Sanctification, making
Justification primary and Sanctification secondary in A Pharisee's Guide is
just doing that. Instead of seeing sanctification as the work of a lifetime, he
argued the Reformed Theology way that it is instantaneous. Totally against
Ellen White’s explicit explanations. Part of Knight’s CV is that he left the
church for 10 years. It is a building brick for cynicism in style. People miss
this. ---In her book
Ministry of Healing page 471 she says that God sees the characters of all and
see potential in many people. So He directed them such that they are able to
develop and see the defects in their character and improve themselves. Their
defects were concealed to their knowledge but now they see. ---This is the
purpose of the Holy Spirit the Bible says. It convicts people of sin and
righteousness. It is enabling during Sanctification. ---It is
successful in carrying out its renovation tasks with everyone in
character-development daily. ---"I was
blind and now I see" is the experience of all who render their hearts to
God for renovations.
