New Moon Number + 29.53 but if number is larger then minus total
from 59.06
First Quarter Number + 7.38
Full Moon Number + 14.77
Second Quarter Number + 22.15
When was the New Moon in March 27 CE, the year Jesus got Baptized?
Answer: Take the year number and go to the column on page 126. On the left is the column for hundreds. If a number has only tens, add a virtual 0 to the beginning and get its reading: thus 0 = 5.65 + New Moon rating 29.53 = 35.18 but because 35.18 is larger than 29.53 one must subtract 35.18 from 59.06 = 23.88 or 24.
Go to page 125 and look for January 24. That is the date for the New Moon in 27 CE and go down in that column to March: the date for the New Moon in March of 27 CE is 24th of March 27 CE.
Look out on page 126 always for the asterisk * since that will mean that one has to minus one day because it is a leap-year, thus 24th of March would have been 23rd of March. But, notice there is no asterisk in any of the numbers used for the date 27 CE on page 126.
