Dear friends in Christ,           Dec.6, 2008

In early October, Pastor Hesron Byilingiro, President of SDA Rwanda Union Mission, accepted invitation to visit Korea on his way to GC meeting in Manila.
 Pastor Hesron was kind enough to spend his time for his mission work in Korea...for wake-up call to Korean Adventists, i.e., Africa should help Korea for mission spirituality and promote fellowship. Pastor Hesron also paved way for leaders of ECD to be invited to visit Korea, and we hear they have agreed this will happen sometime next year, 2009. We would like to call this "Reverse Mission";  Koreans will be much blessed by African leaders to tell us their mission stories, how Jesus is telling them to save every soul(tribe) in "the End of the Earth", how African leaders are upholding their high spirituality.  Very soon, we will not be surprised if Africans produce world spiritual leaders.

Pastor Hesron has visited;

1)     Courtesy call to Pastor Hong, Myung Gwan, President of Korea Union Conference,
2)      Visited Adventist Sanitarium and Hospital, Foreign Language Institute, two of the finest church institutes,
3)     Courtesy call to Pastor Suh, President of Sahmyook University, and subsequent lucheon and dinner,
4)     Visited Adventist Pastors Retreat Center,who will come to Rwanda in 2009 to help Rwanda's future Pastors Retreat Center near Kivu Lake, in spirituality training aspect as well as modern management and development skills.
5)     Pastor PD Chun has specially accompanied Pastor Hesron for tour of Adventist Food Process company, a proud Adventist enterprise in Korea, and has toured high-tech manufacturing process, almost automated, Soya milk process technology being a high light of the tour. And they have agreed to help Rwanda when and if our church decides to go into this business.
6)     Pastor Hesron has visited Maha's World Office in Sahmyook University(Dr.Chun Shik Park, Secretary General), gave a key note presentation on "Mission from Frontier Missionary's View Point" seminar, held in Sahmyook Seminary, as a program of "Global Outreach".
7)     Pastor Hesron has preached during morning devotional at Korea Union Conference.

We, hereby, thank Pastor Hesron for his kind visit to Korea and we are sure of Adventist fellowship between Africa and Korea in the near future. We thank him because he paved the way.

In the next series-2, you will receive mission report of "BMW Annual Mission Conference", held in Baltimore,Md, USA, during Oct.23-25, at Washington-Spencervill SDA Korean Church.

May God bless you all whoever and wherever you are!  Amen.
