sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved
blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Thessalonians 5:23,
NKJV). ---Break down the text carefully. ---Who is sanctifying completely? God.
Is complete sanctification possible? Yes. Why? God is doing it. ---Are the listeners completely
sanctified according to Paul? No. That is why he said “May”. “May” means “for
not are you”. Is that you? ---Can God sanctify the dead bones in
the grave? Completely sanctified in the grave? No. ---Does and can God sanctify you
completely while you are living? Yes. ---Is the Second Coming while you are
living? For Ellen White? No. She died before the Second Coming. Does Paul wish
Ellen White to be completely sanctified before the Second Coming? Yes. ---Here is the rule: you can only be
completely sanctified at the Second Coming if you are completely sanctified
while you were still alive and you are only alive while you did not die yet and
death may be before the Second Coming. ---Thus, complete sanctification or
perfection before the Second Coming. ---What happens to the spirit, soul and
body? It is preserved blameless. Where in heaven? No. After death in heaven
preserved? No. When? While you are living before you die. ---If you die the body disintegrates and
is not preserved. The soul stops to exist. That is conditional immortality.
Immortality at the Second Coming if, if you are faithful. ---Did you hear people say, Oh, no-one
can be perfection so perfection is only at the Second Coming of Christ. ---It uses the word “preserve”. What is
attained is preserved. What does not exist is “switched on”. Does the text say
at the Second Coming perfection will be switched on or preserved what is
already there? ---Can you see what Paul is saying about
perfection or sanctification or holiness? ---Martin Luther could not accept it and
neither could Catholic Augustine. “Same time saint and same time sinner” was
their motto. ---Hans LaRondelle taught that “same
time saint and same time sinner until the Second Coming and then absolute
perfection” ---In a way he is correct since bones
get new flesh at the Second Coming of the old form. But the reasoning here is in
a way not biblical here. The Bible calls Noah perfect, Henoch, Job, David.
Perfection while they were living, not after they died. ---The text is staying that your
holiness is kept constant after attaining before the Second Coming until the
Second Coming or until you breath your last breath. ---Paul is saying, while you are alive,
may you be perfect, sanctified, holy and stay that way (preserved) so that at
the Second Coming the blamelessness that you had as saint is the same as when
you breathed your last breath. ---Character perfection is what we
attain while we are living not after we died or at the Second Coming. Body
perfection is what we will get at Resurrection. That is Adventism 4.1 and Hans
LaRondelle’s view on this topic is Reformed Theology 1.1 via G. Berkhouwer, his
ecumenical Calvinistic teacher. ---Did God use H. LaRondelle in the
Adventist church? Yes. Were many people converted by him? Yes. Baptized? Yes.
Was Luther a man of God used by Him? Yes. Was he correct in everything he said?
No. ---Every person is a “person of his/her
times”. Talents are ploughed in for God as sole object. ---Are you working for an Adventist
Institution but is agnostic? ---You “lied” to them because their MOU
(memorandum of understanding) is that you agreed at the beginning that you are
an Adventist, following their principles and doctrines and wish to spill it
over to their clients who are not Adventists. ---Is it right to proseletize? To
evangelize non-believers? Freedom of Religion is advocated by modern legal
societies. ---That is fine. Business is done with
the same laws. Is it permissible to advertise your product on the market and
hope the person will buy what you advertise? Of course. Then it is permissible
to proseletize and evangelize as well. ---Students who are selected to come to
study at the Christian University accepted the MOU of attending the religious
functions provided when they write the entrance exams and got the green light
at the interview. ---They knew very well what they put
themselves into. They were not babies but adults. ---You are free to go to the toilet.
Free to stand at the door. Free not to listen or cognitively “switch-off”. ---But it is unethical if they try to
use outside laws of the country to force the breaking of the initial MOU
contract of acceptance to that Christian University. Is this clear? It is
biblical. ---So it is time for you to
change. When? Right now
