Eearl E. Cleveland spoke in 1999 at a Campmeeting which is cited below. This SDA evangelist, and one of the most prolific black preachers in Adventism, held up a catholic source that said that for Catholics, tradition is more important than the Bible. If people want to follow the Bible, he suggested that they become Seventh-day Adventists. That source by Cleveland is presented here in full.
The Seventh-day Sabbath is admitted to be biblical and the Sunday is a creation of the church and based not on the Bible but church-tradition. Either Christians follow the Catholics by abiding to Tradition and keep Sunday or do the same as Seventh-day Adventists and keep Saturday as the Seventh-day Sabbath.
