Trial of Jesus and Legal inconsistencies

 

A study was done in 1899 by advocate A. Taylor Innes.

It is very interesting material.

The sources for the reconstruction of right or wrong is unfortunately too late to be really relevant.

The Talmud is no less than 200 AD written down for the same time, 170 years after Christ died.

Josephus’ manuscripts are also very late, very similar to the Talmud.

Tacitus also.

So, to investigate this issue with sources called Mishna or Talmud or Rabbi so and so says, is too remote in my opinion.

Nevertheless it makes interesting reading material for those interested in Jurisprudence.
