---The text that made Calvinism and Methodism stand against each other is Ephesians 1:19.

---“And what [is] the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,”

---Power… believe… power.

---Calvin read it as A then B then B1 or B->B1.

---Jacob Armenius read it as A then B then A1 with the B totally independent from the activities of God with a free will action.

---For Calvin, God predestinated some to believe and make them believe so that they will be saved and others He did not predestinated to believe and they will not be saved.

---For Jacob Armenius, God foreknows who will be believing but He does not touch their wills which is a free will choice to believe.

---For Armenius, the power of God that He display is in and around Christ.

---For Calvin, the power God displays is in us to make us believe.

---Let us explain it again:

This is the point where Calvin and Jacobus Arminius separated ways. Calvin connected the last phrase with the faith but Jacobus saw it as a synonymous parallelism of what was said in the first phrase. Jacobus saw it as an A then B then A1. Calvin saw it as an A then B then B1. Sow the dialectical Calvinism and Methodism was born. The bondage of the will only God’s predestination versus the free will believer choice.

---The energizing working in us is not God making us believe says Arminius against Calvin but the Holy Spirit working in us.

---Let us say it again:

Jacobus saw it as the internal activeness of the Spirit of God given to us to work in us by sanctification but Calvin saw it as the internal working of fruits of thankfulness for everything God is doing in Christ in Heaven on our behalf, not on earth or even in us.

---Can you see how easy people can misread the Bible? So for example pastors are scared to invite Andrew Kang to preach in their churches but laymen invite him left right and center in the country-side.

---It was the same with Elijah. Yahwism at the palace with Ahab/Jezebel was tainted with “oops I did it again-gospel”.

---Not Elijah: Choose whom you want to believe, God or Baalism but not both. “Be ye perfect as I am perfect-gospel of Jesus”. Right?

---So which gospel is your local pastor preaching every Sabbath?

---Elijah or Jezebel?

---Make sure and move. When? Now.
