---The world out there knows that Adventists teaches death as a sleep. No wings, no flying parts of the body at death.

---Moses too. He described the death of Abraham and himself and Aaron as gathered with his people.

---Gathered in heaven? No. Moses was resurrected by God singularly and taken to heaven. God did it.

---Does it mean God resurrect everyone who is buried and taken them to heaven also? No. Paul is clear that Resurrection is at the shout of the Last Trumpet in 1 Corinthians 15, so one should not invent other scenarios.

---And funeral pastors do: she’s now a star in heaven, an angel, in the arms of Jesus.

---Pastors do anything just to satisfy their audience. They create scenarios.

---David died and “rested with his fathers, and was buried in the City of David” (1Kings 2:10). The fathers rest. Rest means sleep-death or death as a sleep. Knows nothing and then open the eyes at Resurrection morning. ---It is not alone. Others went before. People are normally buried near their love ones.
