Hacienda Heights Chinese SDA Church will celebrate its church status organizational ceremony on the coming Sabbath of January 9, 2010 at 2:30 pm.  We have 420 members and guests for both the Ceremony and the Celebration Dinner.  Thank you for your support.

哈崗華人教會將於 2010年1月9日本安息日下午2:30分準時舉行組織教會成立慶典。目前共有420位教友及來賓報名參加慶典及晚宴。謝謝您們的支持。

This is the first time a Chinese church is becoming a fully-established church in Southern California since 1961 when Los Angeles Chinese SDA Church and 1982 when Loma Linda Chinese Church was organized. This is quite an accomplishment that Hacienda Heights Chinese Church takes only 4 years to do so. Our charter membership stands at 152.   We are glad that we now have one more Chinese church and we feel blessed that many church members have a part in its establishment from the beginning.   Thanks to the blessings of our Lord.  We want to give all the glory to Him. Your constantly prayers are highly appreciated.

自1961年及1982年分別在南加州地區成立羅省華人教會以及羅馬琳達華人教會以來的另一所新組織教會。我們在四年內正式建立了哈崗華人教會。目前總教友人數為152位。我們也很高興能在此地區多了一所中文組織教會，我們更感謝您從開始在本堂的建立中有您們的參與。感謝神的賜福。謝謝您們長期來的代禱。

Following the Ceremony, there will be a Celebration Dinner at a Chinese Seafood Village Restaurant in Rowland.  Tickets are required for admission to the Celebration Dinner. Tickets already started to issue, if you don’t receive it, please contact   (LA Chinese church is Charles Jones or Ruth Chu; Loma Linda Chinese Church is Pastor Yuen; San Gabriel Valley Chinese is Pastor Zhou, San Diego is Joyce Tu). Or you can call Pastor Cho at if you have any question. A special thank to the donors who help us to cover the cost of the Celebration Dinner.

We thank our God for His mercy and grace upon this new Church and all those who have and will come through this door. We thank God for giving us the vision, courage, wisdom and dedication to plant a seed in this neighborhood. From this seed, we have grown into a family of God with 152 charter members. We give glory to His Majesty, acknowledging His divine presence and holiness. Our theme is JESUS IS COMING SOON for that is the very reason we chose to start a ministry in this area. We are united in our hearts, with our immediate family, church family and fellow believers to share this message to those around us and beyond– while waiting for Jesus’ soon return.

我們感謝上帝對這所新的教會及那些已進入或即將進入這門的每一位的慈憐與恩惠。我們感謝上帝給予我們異象、勇氣、智慧及委身的機會，使我們在此地區撒上福音的種子。從這種子，我們已經成長，並有一五ニ位創會教友。我們將一切的榮耀歸與主，並感謝祂的神聖臨格及聖潔。我們的主題是「耶穌必定要再來」，當我們在等候基督復臨之時我們的家人、教會的大家庭、以及同道們同心合一，為要在我們周圍的地區及遠近各處宣揚福音，也因為此，我們選擇在此地區開創新工。

There are many people who are involved in the planning and organizing of this Organizational Inauguration Ceremony. We want to thank all of them, musicians- music directors, pianists, organists, soloists, accompanists, choir members, youth choir members, youth ensemble, platform participants; program coordinators; and all those working behind the scene, the kitchen hands, setup crew, audio-video technicians, cleanup crew, etc – for their dedication, hard work, and countless hours of planning and preparation in making this occasion very special and memorable. Without their untiring efforts, this program would not have been possible. Most of all, we thank our guests and members who worship and celebrate this special occasion with us today. May you experience the love and joy of Jesus and the warm friendship of this congregation.

The final product of the DVD /CD of the North American Chinese Camp Meeting Sacred Music Concert has already been done. Thank God for the opportunity for us to honor Him through music.
