Thoughts for the Month 本月思想

¹⁵ If you love me, you will obey my commandments.¹⁶ I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, who will stay with you forever.¹⁷ He is the Spirit, who reveals the truth about God. The world cannot receive him, because it cannot see him or know him. But you know him, because he remains with you and is in you.  ¹⁸ When I go, you will not be left all alone; I will come back to you. (John 14:15-18)

Today is Easter Weekend and the world commemorates the sacrifice and resurrection of our Lord, Jesus Christ. The most important of all, though, is to remember the promise of Jesus that He will return again and take us back to His “mansion” and whoever remains to Him will have eternal life. Let’s pray for His soon Return. 

今日為復活節節週末以記念救主在十字架上為我們的犧牲及復活。最重要的乃是記住衪還要再回來接我們回到衪所為我們預備的 “地方” 以及在衪裡面的可以得到永生。讓我們在禱告中記念衪早日的復臨。

Next Sabbath is Communion Service. We invite all Christians to participate in the Communion Service in remembrance of Jesus' love and sacrifice.

下安息日本堂將舉行聖餐禮。我們邀請所有基督徒參與此儀式以記念主耶穌的愛及犧牲。

The Church Board has voted to designate all loose offerings to the local church budget. If you wish to designate your offerings for any specific ministry, please write on the offering envelopes.

堂董會通過凡未指定之奉獻皆歸於本堂之堂費捐。如要指定捐款用途，請註明在信封上。

The Youth/YA held its Bible Studies at Dominic and Ruth Chu’s residence at 3363 Rancho Rio Bonita Road, Covina , CA 91724 . It will be held every Friday at 7:30 pm. For information, contact Renata Ganis (714) 496 4897.
