22nd MISSIONARIES RETREAT

Rekindle, Keep, Pass On - THE FIRE.  This is the theme of the 1000 Missionary Movement 22nd Spiritual Retreat at Madalpy last October 16-18, 2009.  More than a hundred missionaries all through-out Korea gathered at the said place to be spiritually refreshed.

Missionaries were filled with passion and a desire to do a mission when they first came to Korea.  But then as the days go by - amidst trials and temptations, hardships and pain, loneliness and despair it cannot be avoided they become lost in their purpose.  Thus, this retreat revives them spiritually, socially, mentally and physically as well.

The 1000MM Associate Director-Korea, Pastor Shin Moo Young, rekindled everyone's mind that Friday evening.  Sabbath was spent splendidly and wholesome messages were heard from Pastor Baquilabat, Associate Director-Philippines 1000MM.  North-Asia Pacific Division 1000MM Coordinator Pastor Han Suk Hee let everyone promise to keep the zest and faithfulness in the heart inspite of circumstances that comes along each day.  And of course, the Director of the movement, Dr. Joo Min Ho, inspired everyone by letting them know the necessity of passing on the Light to others by sharing God's love.

Everyone left that Sunday morning rekindled in spirit, willing to keep God's love and pass on the Light to others with a pledge to serve more in their mission fields.

The Wings singing group from the Philippines came too, to grace the occasion with their wonderful songs.
